Berry Star Big Pour

The Idea:

One big, beautiful punch bowl of something delicious. You make it before everyone arrives, you set it out, and you never think about drinks again. Your guests help themselves, it looks gorgeous on the table, and you actually get to enjoy your own party. This is the second recipe in my Big Pour series and it’s perfect for summer hosting. The blue stars make it festive for Memorial Day Weekend or Fourth of July!

The Berry Star Big Pour is fruity, fizzy, and refreshing. If you don’t want it too sweet, I suggest replacing some lemonade with extra club soda.

What You Need:

  • 1 bottle of prosecco (I love LaMarca)

  • 1/3 of a jug of lemonade

  • 1 heavy splash of vodka (~1 cup)

  • ½ bottle of club soda

  • A container of raspberry sorbet

  • Blue gatorade (frozen into a star ice cube tray)

  • Mint and blueberries to garnish

That is your whole grocery list. Throw it all in the fridge, prep your star ice, and forget about it until party time.

How to Assemble:

In a punch bowl, combine lemonade, vodka and club soda. Pour in prosecco. Top with sorbet scoops, blue stars, mint and blueberries. Pro tip: if its an extra hot day, have some extra stars ready to place into each person’s cup!

Want to make it family friendly? Swap Sprite for prosecco and omit the vodka!
