Mini Bouquet Favors

The Idea —

I was setting up for my Couch Cafe girls’ night and realized I was going to have some extra flowers leftover. I thought it would be cute to send everyone home with a mini bouquet and I had just gotten this cone stand for another party. So 1 + 1 = 2 and mini bouquets were born! (although I’m sure I'm not the first to make them!) These would be so cute for a baby or bridal shower too!

How To —

Supplies:

  • tiny flowers (like chamomile, baby’s breath, feverfew, even herbs! I suggest at least 2 different flowers)

  • cone stand** with bamboo cone cups

  • cling wrap

  • wet paper towels

  • rubberbands

**While I try not to push purchases, and encourage using what you have on hand for hosting, I think the cone stand is important. It comes with the bamboo cups and I’ve reused the stand for holding ice cream cones and filling the cup with other treats or charcuterie.

Assembly:

  • Cut the flowers down to just shorter than the length of the cones. Vary the heights just slightly.

  • Wrap the stems in a wet paper towel

  • Wrap the paper towel in cling wrap and secure with a rubberband.

  • Place the mini bouquet in a bamboo cup. Place the cup in the stand!

Prepare these a few hours before your event, but with the paper towel method they should keep for about a day before being transferred to small cup/shot glass.
